It is a waste of time trying to change a man’s character. You have to accept your husband as he is.
Queen Elizabeth II

One of the greatest gifts my husband gave to me was acceptance. From the start, he accepted me for me, flaws and all. and I him, from the start I’ve thought he was fine just the way he was. The older I get and the longer we’ve been married and I see how with many other married couples, there is this long-standing struggle to change their spouse. It makes me wonder, why did they marry in the first place. Sure, there are some things about Brian that are not perfect, but overall he is perfect for me. Not only do I love him deeply, I like him a great deal and wouldn’t change a thing about him. I accept him as he is.
